then maybe the answer should be "no".

no matter how much we may declare this to be a nonproduction test bed, 
there are a bunch of ambulance chasers out there who want to discover 
that our intent is impure, and they will jump at every excuse. that's a 
corrosive anti-scientific agenda and i think of them as book burning 
fundamentalists that the world would be better off without, but we're 
stuck in the world we've got.

we may be speaking past each other on this small matter. i'm talking 
about a DNSOP I-D describing the Yeti experiment, with the expectation 
that once it's adopted, it will be revised to include the results.
