[Yeti DNS Discuss] [Experiment idea] DNAME from .local to AS112

In the Internet-Draft "Using DNAME in the root for the delegation of
special-use TLDs"
<https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-bortzmeyer-dname-root>, there is a
proposal to delegate heavy-use non-existing TLD like .local to the new
AS 112 (the one using DNAMEs).

Currently, there are no DNAME in the root. I'm pessimistic about the
future of this draft since it will certainly require 10 years and
10^many pages of reports before ICANN and the US government allow
them. But, in the mean time, it could be a nice experiment for Yeti.

I see two issues: one is the opinion of the AS 112 operators. I've
pinged them about that.

The second issue is the fact that Yeti pledged to serve the USG root,
unmolested (at least, with the very same TLDs). IMHO, the addition of
.local, undelegated in the USG root and unlikely to ever be, is an
acceptable exception to this Yeti policy.
